RD 21

The RD 21 chair will be launched at the Salone del Mobile 2009 in collaboration with Plusdesign Gallery.
 
The hand woven chairs are all created by Richard Liddle’s hands in a one off blue colour. Produced in the UK from recycled domestic plastic waste, the unique chairs explore the latest of Cohda's research into the tooling process and technical experimentation of recycled plastics in design.
 
The design will take its place as one of nine new design objects especially created by international artists and designers for Milan’s Plusdesign gallery. Plusdesign is a contemporary gallery and unique brand dedicated to contemporary design. This years range includes products in 21 limited editions by artists and designers with an experimental vocation. These include works by Fernando and Humberto Campana, Richard Hutton, Falvio Favelli, Anila Rubiku, Robert Orchardson, Francesco Simeti and Valentina Ravara, Luca Trevisani, Patrick Tuttofuoco and Cohda's Richard Liddle.
